Most of what you notice about a painted room is the bit that happened before the paint. If the filler is proud, or the caulk line wanders, or the old drips were left on the skirting, you will see it every evening for years. So that is where the time goes.

The holes and dents go first
You get the walls filled, sanded flat and caulked where the woodwork meets them, so the finished surface is even under the light rather than only when you stand square to it.

Woodwork is its own job
Skirting, architrave, doors and window boards get cut in by hand. If you want them a different colour to the walls, say so at the quote and we will price it in.
