Privacy notice

Short site, short notice. Last updated 14 August 2026.

Who we are

Whites Professional Decorators Ltd, company 11932584, registered office 95 Conway Street, Long Eaton, Nottingham NG10 2AD. We are the data controller for anything you send through this site. If you want to talk to us about it, ring 07903 670788 or email whitesprofessionaldecorators@gmail.com.

What we collect

Only what you type into the enquiry form: your name, your phone number, your email address if you give one, the postcode of the job and your description of the work. Nothing else. There is no account to create and nothing to log in to.

What we do with it

It is emailed to us so we can ring you back about the job. That is the only thing it is used for. We do not put you on a mailing list, we do not sell it and we do not pass it to anybody else for their own purposes. The lawful basis is our legitimate interest in answering people who ask us to quote for work.

How long we keep it

Enquiries that do not turn into work are deleted from the inbox within twelve months. If you do become a customer, we keep the job record for six years, because HMRC expects us to be able to account for our work.

Cookies and tracking

This site sets no cookies. There is no analytics, no advertising tag, no social media pixel and no embedded map. The fonts are served from this site rather than from a font company, so loading a page does not tell anybody else that you were here. That is why there is no cookie banner: we have nothing to ask you about.

Who else is involved

The site is hosted by a hosting company, which keeps standard server logs including IP addresses for a short period for security purposes, and the enquiry email is delivered by an email provider. Both act on our instructions. Their names go here once the accounts are set up in our name.

Your rights

You can ask us for a copy of what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Ring or email and we will sort it. If you think we have handled your details badly you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
